2018 Nevada Wolf Pack Football Schedule Analysis
– Portland State isn’t a layup of a way to start the season, but it’s a must win with three dangerous games to follow. The Wolf Pack have to go to Vanderbilt, then deal with Oregon State in Reno, and then get back on the road to Toledo. A 2-2 start would be terrific.
– The Mountain West season kicks off on the road against Air Force, making it three away dates in four weeks. But the payoff comes with four home games over a five game span, going from September 29th to November 17 with just a trip to Hawaii.
San Diego State and Fresno State both have to come to Nevada, but the San Jose State and UNLV dates to close out the regular season are on the road.
– Missing Wyoming’s defense from the Mountain isn’t bad, but the Pack have to host Boise state and Colorado State form the other division. They miss New Mexico and Utah State.
