Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Navy Midshipmen football schedule.
2018 Navy Midshipmen Football Schedule Analysis
– It’s a long, long 13-game season for the Midshipmen, starting out with a long, long trip to Hawaii to kick things off. There’s no time to rest, with a West showdown against Memphis to follow.
Lehigh is the breather, and it’s needed with a trip to Air Force and a date with Notre Dame in San Diego the other non-conference games – that’s a LOT of miles – before dealing with Army in Philadelphia
– They don’t have to deal with USF from the East, but they have to go to UCF. They also miss East Carolina and UConn from the other division, having to go to Cincinnati and get Temple at home.
– Against the West, Navy gets Houston and Tulsa at home, along with that date against Memphis. That’s the good. However, again with the miles and the long trips, has just one home game – Tulsa – from October 20th to the finish.
