2018 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Football Schedule Analysis

– The Blue Raiders start things out with a trip up the road to face Vanderbilt – it’s a winnable Power Five battle. The date at Georgia a few weeks later, isn’t. In between is a tune-up date with UT Martin, with a third SEC game on the slate coming in late November at Kentucky.

– Get ready to start the Conference USA season with a bang – Florida Atlantic, at Marshall. Win those two games, and the East is all but theirs. However, they have to go on the road for three games in four weeks, including trips to FIU and Old Dominion. The home games are must-wins with five road games in seven weeks.

– Missing out on Louisiana Tech and North Texas from the West is a plus, with a date at UTEP and the regular season finale against UAB the West battles. The East part of the season ends in early November when WKU comes to Murfreesboro.
