Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football schedule.
2018 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Football Schedule Analysis
– Beating Grambling is a must early on, and then comes the week off to prepare for what’s coming next. Going to Mississippi State will be fun – dealing with the new high-powered passing offense – and a road game at Alabama at the end of the month brings the paycheck. The other non-conference game is against New Mexico State in mid-October.
– The Sun Belt season starts out at home against Coastal Carolina in between the road games with MSU and Alabama, and it’s the only home date in a four-game stretch. The Ragin’ Cajuns have to go to Troy, and they also have to deal with Appalachian State on the road. Uh-oh. They missGeorgia Southern from the East.
– The key West game is against Arkansas State at home. Lose that, and there’s a big problem in division play. They gets South Alabama at home, but close out with the rivalry date at ULM. Fortunately, there aren’t two road games in a row in conference play.
