Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Liberty Flames football schedule.
2018 Liberty Flames Football Schedule Analysis
– Coming off its big season, Army gets a chance at a Power Fiver to kick things off, going to Duke. That’s good, and hosting Liberty and Hawaii won’t be without its charm, but if the Black Knights can get by the Blue Devils, all of a sudden, the date at Oklahoma should be dangerous fun. Finishing up September with a trip to Buffalo won’t be a breeze.
– It’s not that bad in an easy October, getting a week off early on before dealing with San Jose State, Miami University and Eastern Michigan – none of the three teams went bowling last year. The games with the Spartans and Eagles are on the road.
– In all, nine of the 12 games are against teams that didn’t go bowling. Back-to-back FCS games against Lafayette and Colgate should’ve be a problem as long as Army already has hit the six-win mark by the time they deal with them. Of course, it all closes out in Philly against Navy.
