All You Really Need To Know About Kentucky
It took a little while to get the job done, but the Wildcats survived the Davidson threes to get by 78-73. The young team didn’t have a problem with turnovers and it hit just about everything on the free throw line, but it went 0-for-6 from three.
The Cats commit a ton of fouls, and they turn the ball over too often, but they play amazing defensive front three and are among the best in the tournament at attacking the boards.
All You Really Need To Know About Buffalo
One of the shockers of the tournament, the Bulls clamped down on Arizona in a wild 89-68 win. They hit just about everything from three – connecting on 15-of-30 from the outside – as they bombed away and pulled away in the second half.
One of the best three point shooting teams in the country, that wasn’t an aberration. They commit a lot of fouls, and they’re just okay defensively, but they move the ball around extremely well and – as Arizona found out – they can get hot, fast.
What’s Going To Happen
The three will be the difference. Buffalo can hit it, and Kentucky can’t.
This is a real deal UB team that can attack the glass every bit as well as the Wildcats, and they have the maturity and the toughness to hold up when the momentum shifts. This is an ultra-confidecnce Bull team that’ll keep the magic going.
