All You Really Need To Know About Kansas
It took way too much work for Kansas to get by Seton Hall, getting by 83-79 helped by 28 points from Malik Newman and doing what they do best – move the ball. They came up with 18 assists, and the Pirates got just nine.
The Jayhawks are terrific from the field – hitting 50% of their shots – they don’t commit a lot of fouls, and they move the ball as well as anyone in the country. When the threes are falling, forget about it.
All You Really Need To Know About Clemson
The Tigers owned Auburn with a special performance, nailing just about everything on the way to a 43-19 halftime lead and an 84-53 win. Auburn went cold, being held to hitting just 17-of-66 from the field – now the D has some serious work to do.
The Tigers allow just 66 points per game and are fantastic at blocking shots. They don’t turn the ball over and don’t foul a lot – they can hit the three, too.
What’s Going To Happen
Clemson is playing really, really well, with the defense suffocating teams in the first two rounds. But with a week off to prepare, expect Kansas to overcome the Tiger aggressiveness by making the extra pass well, hitting everything from the field, and doing a good job from three after connecting on 43% against Seton Hall.
