All You Really Need To Know About Florida State

Xavier had it won. Up big in the second half, the Musketeers just had to hang on, but Florida State roared back with 43 points for the 75-70 win. Five Seminoles came up with double-digit points, with the team hitting 86% from the line and doing just enough from three.

Fantastic from the inside on both ends of the court, they block shots – especially when Terance Mann is okay – and they can hit from three, too. It’s a mentally-tough squad that doesn’t turn the ball over and puts a ton of pressure on from the outside.

All You Really Need To Know About Gonzaga

Florida State managed to comeback for its big win. Gonzaga had to hold on against Ohio State after a huge start. It was a struggle to hang on for the 90-84 victory, but 28 points from Zach Norvell and Rui Hachimura went for 25 to keep the O rolling. Outrebounding the Buckeyes 39 to 25 didn’t hurt.

The Bulldogs are among the best in the nation at hitting the boards, explosive offensively, and great from the field. This is a great-scoring team both inside and out, it doesn’t make mistakes, and it’s flying under the radar – until now.

What’s Going To Happen

Gonzaga will keep it all going. This isn’t the same team that went to the national championship last season, but it’s got the same sort of makeup.

It’ll be a fight on the boards, and both teams will battle hard defensively, but the Bulldogs have more offensive firepower. They won’t meltdown like Xavier did.
