2018 Western Michigan Football Schedule
Realistic Best Case Scenario

– The Broncos pull off a Week Zero shocker with a home win over Syracuse, and play Michigan tough in Ann Arbor. The non-conference slate finishes up 3-1 with wins over Delaware State and in Atlanta at Georgia State.

– With three road games in four weeks, it’s not going to be a break a sweat getting by Miami University, Eastern, Michigan, and Bowling Green for a hot MAC start. A big win over Central Michigan means a 4-0 conference run before dealing with Toledo.

– They take down the home win over Toledo to set the tone for the rest of the MAC slate, November isn’t a problem, winning at least two of the last three to go to the MAC title game. With Toledo and NIU in Kalamazoo, there’s no excuse not to take the West.

2018 Western Michigan Football Schedule
Realistic Worst Case Scenario

– The Broncos get hammered by Syracuse and dropped badly by Michigan to follow. Worse yet, Georgia State rises up at home for a win, and the Broncos start an ugly 1-3.

– The early road tests are a problem in conference play, struggling against Miami University and losing one of the two dates at Bowling Green at Central Michigan. Worse yet, they lose to Toledo, all but ending any MAC title hopes.

– Realistically, they win at least two of the final three games, but they can’t get past NIU to miss out on bowl eligibility.

2018 Western Michigan Early Prediction: 7-5
