2018 Oregon Ducks Football Schedule Analysis

– The Mario Cristobal era started with the clunker of a bowl loss to Boise State, but it really and truly gets going with as light and breezy a run as possible. Bowling Green, Portland State, and San Jose State – yippee. However, the Ducks can be forgiven – and it’s the right way to tune up for the season – with the Pac-12 opener a must-win out of the gate.

– Stanford comes to Autzen. So does Washington. The two big dates against the fellow North stars are right away – wrapped around a road game at Cal and an open date. Basically, Oregon couldn’t possibly ask for a better break to kick things off. However, the date with the Dawgs is followed up by a run of three of the next four games on the road.

– As if there weren’t enough positives to the slate, Oregon misses USC from the South. They have to go to Arizona and Utah, but they get UCLA and Arizona State at home. They also miss Colorado.
