2018 Kansas Jayhawks Football Schedule Analysis
– Can Kansas beat the mediocre teams on the non-conference slate this year? Nicholls State shouldn’t be an issue, but MAC teams have given the Jayhawks problems – going to Central Michigan won’t be an exception. Rutgers might be the Big Ten’s worst team, but it’ll be looking at this as a key chance for a Power Five non-conference win.
– The Big 12 schedule starts out with three road games in the first four dates, but there’s a week off between away games at West Virginia and Texas Tech to break everything up. However, the Baylor game is right away to kick off the conference schedule, and it’s on the road.
– There’s never too much of a break when it comes to Big 12 home games. With five conference road dates, there are two separate back-to-back away game runs to deal with. Going to Kansas State and Oklahoma in November won’t be fun, but that comes after home games against TCU and Iowa State. The year closes out in Lawerence against Kansas on Thanksgiving Weekend Friday.
