Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Georgia Bulldogs football schedule.
2018 Georgia Bulldogs Football Schedule Analysis
– The Bulldogs get to ease into the season with Austin Peay, get Middle Tennessee at home a few weeks later. The SEC regular season ends for the Bulldogs on November 10th with UMass and Georgia Tech coming to Athens to close out the regular season. The non-conference games to start the season are sandwiched around a road trip to South Carolina to kick off the East slate.
– Along with that date in Columbia against the Gamecocks, the only other three true road dates are at Missouri, Kentucky, and LSU. That’s not awful, except for the interdivisional date against the Tigers.
That’s rough, and the annual date with Auburn to close out the SEC season isn’t going to be easy, either. However, even though going to LSU is brutal, there’s no Alabama on the slate.
– As always, of course, the Florida game is in Jacksonville, but the Tennessee date is in Athens. The East schedule isn’t all that awful if the Dawgs can get past South Carolina and Missouri on the road to kick things off. However, there’s no home game after October 6th to November 10th.
