2018 Clemson Tigers Football Schedule Analysis

– Texas A&M. That’s it. That’s the first part of the season for a Clemson team that needs to go to College Station and deal with Jimbo Fisher. Going to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech won’t be a breeze, but it’s more than winnable, followed up by a home revenge date against Syracuse. Beat A&M, and the September isn’t that bad.

– The Problem? The Tigers don’t get two straight games in Death Valley until the very end against Duke and South Carolina. It’s an alternate home-road schedule – there’s no way to get into much of a groove.

– At Florida State is it for the ACC slate. There’s no Miami from the Coastal, and there’s no Virginia Tech, either. The Louisville and NC State games are at home, going to Wake Forest and Boston College isn’t that bad, and dealing with Duke shouldn’t be a problem. It’ll take a monumental upset for the Tigers to lose to anyone but Texas A&M on the right day. and against the Fighting Taggarts in Tallahassee on October 27th.
