– There’s a chance to go 4-0 with easy with Kansas to start out the Big 12 schedule. There won’t be any real breaks the rest of the way with the remaining eight games all against the Big 12 teams that went bowling. There’s a week off in the middle of the season between road dates at Texas and a Thursday night game against West Virginia, but to go bowling the Bears have to be a whole lot better – and can’t whiff in the first four games.
– There’s a nice November stretch of three non-away games in the final four dates, with the Texas Tech finale in Arlington. However, there’s a run of three road games in four – going to Texas, West Virginia and Iowa State – with that week off to rest up.
