Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Arkansas Razorbacks football schedule.
2018 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Schedule Analysis
– The Chad Morris era started out relatively light and breezy, getting Eastern Illinois and North Texas around a road trip to Colorado State. Those aren’t total layups, and the offense will have to show up, but combine that and the date with Tulsa, and – thanks to Michigan bailing on a series with the Hogs – the program isn’t playing any interesting non-conference matchups.
– The SEC season starts out at Auburn, and then the Texas A&M game is in AT&T Stadium, and then it’s Alabama – yikes. On the plus side, the Hogs get a ridiculous five straight SEC home games and don’t have a true road game – counting Little Rock as a home game, too – between September 22nd and November 17th.
– As always, Arkansas plays Missouri in interdivisional play, but this year it’s in Columbia to end the regular season. The other game against the East? At home against Vanderbilt. There’s no Georgia, Florida or Tennessee, and from the West, again, Alabama is a home game as is the date with LSU. Combine that with the non-conference slate without a game against a Power Five team, and there can’t be any complaints.
