Mays (6’6″ 318lbs), a Knoxville native, committed to Tennessee in 2015 and has been an avid recruiter for their 2018 class.

Strong family ties – his father played for the Vols – and growing up next to the university was not enough to keep Mays in Knoxville.

Georgia is in the hunt for the 5-star offensive lineman. Mays has taken multiple visits to UGA, with his most recent coming last Saturday when Georgia played South Carolina.

Mays also has offers from Clemson, Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State, among others.

Mays ranks as the 15th ranked player in the nation, the 2nd ranked offensive tackle and is considered the top player in the state of Tennessee according to 247 Sports.
