What’s Going To Happen
Can Mike Price ever create any sort of magic?
UTEP still hasn’t won a game, but it’s had two weeks off after getting shut out at Southern Miss. With an oasis of a home game, the Miners need to finally create enough offense to have something go its way, with three road games in the final four dates.
UTSA got over a two-game losing streak – both in tight battles – with an underwhelming 29-7 win over Rice. It’s not out of the Conference USA race, but it needs to go on a roll, and it’ll need a little help.
For now, the Roadrunners need to continue to play great defense – they’re outstanding up front and great at stopping third down plays – and they need to do what they do controlling the game from the start.
There are few better teams at controlling the tempo, owning the ground attack on both sides of the ball.
With one of the nation’s worst ground games, and the worst offense in college football, the Miners won’t go anywhere.
