UNLV improved by over 70 spots from last year’s final ranking

The initial 2017-18 men’s basketball rankings on were released Sunday evening., a site created and developed by Ken Pomeroy, is a highly popularized metric that measures team quality on a possession-by-possession basis. It has quickly risen to prominence among basketball circles and is now being used as a main metric by the NCAA Tournament committee.
