The NCAA was rocked today as the FBI cracked down on at least four assistant basketball coaches and a top Adidas exec for allegedly taking bribes to bring college athletes to agents and certain colleges.
Among the people implicated are Chuck Person of Auburn University, Lamont Evans of Oklahoma State University, Emanuel Richardson of Arizona University, Anthony Bland of the University of Southern California and James Gatto who is the director of global sports marketing.
One of the more interesting parts of this situation is that when Oklahoma State upset WVU last basketball season. Coach Evans met with someone in Morgantown and allegedly accepted a bribe of $2,000. It is unclear right now who that person was and if he was associated with WVU in any way.
Story will be updated if new information about WVU comes out.
