What’s Going To Happen
Colorado State is building a case to be the best team in the Mountain West.
It gave Alabama a bit of a hard time, and then it rolled on the road at Hawaii and Utah State for a good Mountain West start. And now it’s time to rip through Nevada.
The schedule isn’t bad, with no San Diego State to deal with, and now the Rams have to get through the dog days and not screw up.
Nevada finally got things working with a home win over Hawaii, but that was the first time the offense started to click a bit. That was good, but beat Colorado State on the road, and the Jay Norvell era is off and running.
This is the game for Nick Stevens and the Colorado State passing game to go off. He’ll easily crank up over 300 yards, getting all the time in the world behind a line that doesn’t get him hit.
The Rams will be balanced when they need to be, Stevens will do whatever he wants to, and just when the Wolf Pack starts to have a good moment or two, Colorado State will answer.
This will be an efficient, effective performance by a team steamrolling to the Mountain Division title.
