Another 5-Star Running Back Commits To UGA
Two five-star running backs in the same class? Georgia fans like the sound of that.
Georgia got some great news on Thursday as 2018 five-star running back James Cook – the younger brother of former FSU star Dalvin Cook – committed to UGA over FSU and Louisville.
According to Rivals, Cook is a five-star prospect, ranks as the nation’s number 3 running back and is the 16th overall player in the 2018 class.
Cook was a long-time FSU commit before reopening his recruitment on July 4th. Since decommitting from FSU, Cook has taken official visits to Georgia and Louisville.
The addition of Cook gives Georgia two top running backs, as he joins Zamir White – the nation’s number one running back – in this stellar 2018 class.
Cook and White will also be accompanied by the nation’s number one player, dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields, who committed to Georgia earlier this month.
The Dawgs now have 18 commits for the class of 2018, including three five-stars, nine four-stars and five three-stars.
