Here is how to watch Hawaii’s opener

Hawaii is playing UMass for the second time in three games. These two teams wrapped up the 2016 regular season finale in Hawaii and saw the Warriors win 46-40.

Even though this trip is just about 5,000 miles there is not a huge issue in the time change for this game as it is the season opener, plus the Warriors have been on the east coast for a few days leading up to the game.

UMass is not expected to be a very good team this year but the one area where they can make some noise is in the passing game but the depth chart lists 2016 starter Andrew Ford as co-starter along with Russ Comis. Head coach Mark Whipple has already said both will play and that he has “two starters.”

If Hawaii is expected to be any good this year — which they should be — the Warriors should take care of business.
