Georgia has picked up a huge commitment from a class of 2018 4-star weak-side defensive end.
Azeez Ojulari, out of Marietta, Ga., made news on Thursday when he announced that he will be staying home and playing his college football at the University of Georgia.
Ojulari is the nation’s No. 3-ranked player at his position of weak-side defensive end. The 6’4″, 224-pound Ojulari is the nation’s No. 25 overall prospect according to 247Sports. He’s been clocked in a 4.7 second 40.
Florida, Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee were also all in play.
Ojulari’s commitment gives a big boost to UGA’s 2018 recruiting class, which prior to his commitment was ranked as the nation’s 45th best class.
