Mountain West Football Top 50: No. 50, Fresno State WR KeeSean Johnson
Fresno State wide receiver KeeSean Johnson kicks off the 2017 edition of our top 50 countdown.
The lone Bulldog on our list has high expectations of himself.
Now that the honorable mentions are out of the way, the 2017 version of Mountain West Wire’s top 50 football players begins with one of the conference’s most self-motivated playmakers.
Fresno State’s KeeSean Johnson begins this year’s iteration after improving his numbers across the board despite an overall forgettable season in the Central Valley. He led the Bulldogs with 66 catches, 773 receiving yards and six touchdowns, managing a 59.5% catch rate in spite of a difficult quarterback situation.
He’s expected to be the number one receiver in new offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer’s attack and looked sharp in the spring, and he certainly doesn’t lack for confidence coming in the 2017 season:
one thing I can promise is when another team turn on the film they gonna say #3 Keesean Johnson can play and he play hard every play period
