After getting blown away by Navy and Wisconsin, a loss at Buffalo and losses to Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion, FAU starts out 1-5 with a whole lot of work to do. There are a few wins along the way at home, but loses to Old Dominion, WKU and Louisiana Tech on the road end any hopes of a winning season. Losing to FIU is a particularly painful late twist.
