2017 Wyoming Cowboys Football Schedule Realistic Best Case Scenario
The Cowboys give Iowa a hard time on the road to start the season, but after rolling by Gardner-Webb, they come up with something special at home in a shocking shootout win over Oregon. They follow it up with a win over Hawaii to open up the Mountain West season, and keep on rolling on the way to a 6-0 start.
And then comes the game of the season – going to Boise State. UW pulls it off, but – to keep this realistic in terms of record, – loses at least one of the next three games. Even so, they close out a 10-2, Mountain Division title season with wins over Fresno State and San Jose State.
2017 Wyoming Cowboys Football Schedule Realistic Worst Case Scenario
UW doesn’t look close to the part in blowout losses to Iowa and Oregon. They struggle on the road in conference play, losing at Utah State and Boise State to all but end the Mountain West title dream by mid-October.
The Cowboys can’t handle the New Mexico running game, the Colorado State passing attack, or the Air Force option in an ugly stretch to ensure a losing season.
