2017 UNLV Rebels Football Schedule & Analysis
Breaking down and analyzing the 2017 UNLV Rebels football schedule
2017 UNLV Rebels Football Schedule Realistic Best Case Scenario
With a win at Idaho, the Rebels start out 2-0 before having to deal with the road trip at Ohio State. With the Mountain West kicking off at home against San Jose State and San Diego State, UNLV comes up with a shocker over the Aztecs to start the year 4-1 before dealing with Air Force on the road. They go on a nice run winning two of three against Utah State, at Fresno State and Hawaii, and after losing to BYU and New Mexico, get revenge for last year against Nevada.
2017 UNLV Rebels Football Schedule Realistic Worst Case Scenario
With a loss at Idaho, the Rebels start out 1-2, and then 2-4 with losses to San Diego State and Air Force. Even with three home games in four weeks, there are at least two losses including a rough gaffe at Fresno State. With losses at New Mexico and Nevada to close things out, it’s yet another losing season when the team gets worse as the season goes on. Realistically, if the UNLV doesn’t take advantage of the favorable run of home games, it’s going to be difficult to close strong.
