2017 Mississippi State Bulldogs Football Schedule
Realistic Best Case Scenario
The Bulldogs own Louisiana early on, beating Louisiana Tech on the road and taking care of LSU for a 3-0 start. Realistically, they split on the road against Georgia and Auburn, and then use the week off to roll through home dates against BYU and Kentucky to kick off a run of four home games in five weeks. Okay, okay, they don’t beat Alabama, but they split the road games against Texas A&M and Arkansas and, of course, win the Egg Bowl again over Ole Miss. 9-3 is possible if everything breaks right.

Realistic Worst Case Scenario
MSU starts out 0-3 in the SEC with losses to LSU and on the road to Georgia and Auburn before getting a week off. The Bulldogs lose their road games to Texas A&M and Arkansas, drop the Alabama game, and can’t get past Ole Miss in the regular season finale. They’ll be too good to suffer a losing season, but they’ll have to fight to get to 6-6.
