2017 Michigan Wolverines Football Schedule
Realistic Best Case Scenario
The schedule isn’t as favorable as last season, but the Wolverines still come out roaring with a win over Florida to start a big run over the first half of the year. They have no problems with Purdue, and after a week off to prepare, they beat Michigan State again before getting to 6-0 leading into the road date at Penn State. The beat the Nittany Lions – again – before blowing through Rutgers, Minnesota and Maryland leading into the road trip to Wisconsin. Of course, the best-case scenario includes a win over Ohio State, but Michigan won’t be good enough to go 12-0. 11-1 with a trip to the Big Ten Championship would work out just fine.

Realistic Worst Case Scenario
With all turnover on both sides of the ball, Michigan gets rolled by Florida to kick things off. It can’t handle the Air Force option, and Michigan State is good again, getting the base screaming after a 2-3 start. They lose at Penn State, get stunned by the Minnesota boat rowers, and lose at Wisconsin and to Ohio State. No, Michigan isn’t going 5-7 even if everything crashes and burns, but 7-5 is possible if the replacements don’t rock right away.
