Breaking down and analyzing the 2018 Wisconsin Badgers football schedule.
2018 Wisconsin Badgers Football Schedule Analysis
– It’s not as easy as it was in 2017 – that was about a big of a dream slate as a Big Ten team could get – but it’s not that awful. The non-conference slate doesn’t have any Power Five teams on it, but it’s not Wisconsin’s fault that BYU isn’t the BYU – at least it’s not expected to be – that it was supposed to be when the home-and-home were first scheduled. WKU will be all pass and no run to kick things off, and New Mexico will be all run and no pass to kick it all off.
– Last year, it seemed like all the big games were in Madison. In division play, the Badgers have to go to Iowa this time around to kickoff the Big Ten season, and going to Northwestern is always a bear for the Badgers. This year, going to Purdue won’t be easy, either, but Nebraska and Minnesota have to come to Camp Randall.
– Wisconsin misses Ohio State again, and it doesn’t have to play Michigan State, but there’s a horrible break of not only having to deal with Michigan and Penn State from the East, but both games are on the road. On the plus side, the other interdivisional game is against Rutgers at home.
