Top 25 Players Still Available After 3rd Round

1. (108 overall) Green Bay Packers (from Cleveland)

RB Samaje Perine, Oklahoma

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

The Packers passed on Dalvin Cook in the second. They need either a workhorse running back or a decent linebacker.

2. (109) Minnesota Vikings (from San Francisco)

DT Jaleel Johnson, Iowa

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Tackle

Caleb Brantley from Florida would be the perfect fit – but the off-field issues will keep him out here. Johnson works, if the Vikings don’t address linebacker issues.

3. (110) Jacksonville Jaguars

OG Dorian Johnson, Pitt

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

The Jaguars will go with either an offensive guard after getting Cam Robinson earlier, or a tight end.

4. (111) Seattle Seahawks

OLB Carl Lawson, Auburn

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

A backup quarterback would be nice, but the Seahawks haven’t gone linebacker yet. They’ll get one who can get to the quarterback.

5. (112) Los Angeles Rams

LB Elijah Lee, Kansas State

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

The Rams still have a ton of holes after a relatively worthless draft so far.

6. (113) Los Angeles Chargers

QB Nathan Peterman, Pitt

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

After going big on offense so far, especially on the line, now the Chargers will go after D linemen or safety … or backup quarterback to groom for the future.

7. (114) Washington Redskins (from NY Jets)

RB Marlon Mack, South Florida

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

The Redskins need a whole lot. A WHOLE lot. They went defense with the first three picks – here comes the offensive side.

8. (115) Arizona Cardinals (from Carolina)

QB Joshua Dobbs, Tennessee

Biggest Remaining Need: Quarterback

It’s time to invest in one. Getting some help for the O line would be nice, but Carson Palmer’s future replacement has to be groomed.

9. (116) Cincinnati Bengals

DT Carlos Watkins, Clemson

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

After shooting big with the first three picks – WR John Ross, RB Joe Mixon, LB Jordan Willis – time to work on the lines.

10. (117) Chicago Bears (from Buffalo)

S Cedric Thomson, Colorado

Biggest Remaining Need: Safety

It’s been an interesting draft, but the Bears needs lots and lots and lots of players now. They’ll all suck and get cut – because that’s what happens to late round picks – but they have to give it a shot.

11. (118) Philadelphia Eagles

WR Dede Westbrook, Oklahoma

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

Skill guy time. After going defense, defense, defense. the Eagles need the top running back or receiver available.

12. (119) Chicago Bears (from Buffalo)

CB/S Desmond King, Iowa

Biggest Remaining Need: Safety

The Bears will throw multiple picks at the defensive back problem, liking the versatile of King.

13. (120) Minnesota Vikings

LB Anthony Walker, Northwestern

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Tackle

Assuming the Vikings go after a tackle earlier in the round, now it’s time to build up the linebackers.

14. (121) Indianapolis Colts

OG Nico Siragusa, San Diego State

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Linemen

After three defensive picks, the Colts will go with a running back or a decent offensive linemen.

15. (122) Baltimore Ravens

WR Josh Reynolds, Texas A&M

Biggest Remaining Need: Wide Receiver

Ravens gotta be Ravens, taking four defensive players with the first four picks. Now it’s time to help the other side.

16. (123) Washington Redskins

WR Chad Hansen, California

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

Assuming the Redskins try to fix running back earlier in the round, it’s time to help out the wide receiver or linebacker situations.

17. (124) Detroit Lions (from New England)

DT Elijah Qualls, Washington

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

More linebackers or defensive linemen – the Lions need help after an underwhelming first three picks. Here comes the beef.

18. (125) New York Jets (from Tampa Bay)

QB Brad Kaaya, Miami

Biggest Remaining Need: Quarterback

It’s finally where the Jets are going to at least throw something at the problem.

19. (126) Denver Broncos

LB Blair Brown, Ohio

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

It’s been an interesting draft so far, but the Broncos need linebacker help to beef things up.

20. (127) Detroit Lions

WR Isaiah Ford, Virginia Tech

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

Defensive line, receiver, linebacker – the Lions need the best one still available.

21. (128) Cincinnati (from Minnesota)

DT Caleb Brantley, Florida

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

It’s Cincinnati. It’s never afraid to go after risky players. Ever. After going Joe Mixon, why not get Brantley, too?

22. (129) Oakland Raiders

LB Jaylen Reeves-Maybin, Tennessee

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

After going defense, defense and defense, the Raiders need to still address the one area that’s still hasn’t been hit.

23. (130) Houston Texans

OT Roderick Johnson, Florida State

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

After getting Deshaun Watson and D’Onta Foreman, now the Texans need someone to block for them.

24. (131) New England Patriots (from Seattle)

LB Devonte Fields, Louisville

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

The Patriots need more pass rushers as well as more linebackers – they can try fixing that with one guy.

25. (132) Minnesota Vikings (from Kansas City)

S Rayshawn Johnson, Miami

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

More help for the line would be nice, but the defensive backfield needs more talent, too.

26. (133) Dallas Cowboys

WR Shelton Gibson, West Virginia

Biggest Remaining Need: Wide Receiver

The Cowboys helped their defensive line and secondary, but now they have to give Dak more weapons to play with.

27. (134) Green Bay Packers

LB Jordan Evans, Oklahoma

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

The Packers need more linebackers and running backs. Both areas are still there to be helped here.

28. (135) Pittsburgh Steelers

QB Chad Kelly, Ole Miss

Biggest Remaining Need: Quarterback

After addressing a slew of other need areas, this is the time to find a passer to work behind Ben Roethisberger to be ready in 2018.

29. (136) Atlanta Falcons

OG Isaac Asiata, Utah

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

Value time. After going with Takk McKinley and Duke Riley for the defensive front, the Falcons have to help the interior of the O line.

30. (137) Indianapolis Colts (from New England)

OT David Sharpe, Florida

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

Assume the Colts go O line with their first pick in the fourth. And then they’ll go for even more.

31. (138) Cincinnati Bengals

DE Ejuan Price, Pitt

Biggest Remaining Need: Defensive Line

Assuming the Bengals go for the defensive front with their first two picks in the fourth round, they’ll still go after more for the outside.

32. (139) Philadelphia Eagles (from Cleveland)

RB Jeremy McNichols, Boise State

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

The Eagles need more receivers and have to eventually address the running back situation. All good at this spot.

33. (140) New York Giants

RB Wayne Gallman, Clemson

Biggest Remaining Need: Running Back

The Eagles will screw up the Giants going running back one pick earlier. There are still options.

34. (141) Los Angeles Rams

CB Damontae Kazee, San Diego State

Biggest Remaining Need: Linebacker

The Rams need a whole lot of talent. Assuming they go after a linebacker earlier in the fourth, they still need help for the line and at corner.

35. (142) Houston Texans (from Cleveland)

S Jadar Johnson, Clemson

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

The Texans need a whole lot more for the secondary, to go along with more offensive linemen. The defensive backfield will finally be addressed.

36. (143) San Francisco 49ers

OT Zach Banner, USC

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

The Rams have to beef up the tackle situation to keep Mr. Goff in one piece. Or at least try to.

37. (144) Indianapolis Colts

RB Brian Hill, Wyoming

Biggest Remaining Need: Offensive Line

Assuming the Colts hit the O line with their first two picks in the fourth, now they can get more help at running back or the D line.
