WVU gets their third 2018-2019 recruit

It was announced yesterday that Derek Culver and Andrew Gordon committed to West Virginia University and now WVU got their third commitment, as it was announced that Jordan McCabe has committed to WVU.

McCabe comes in 6-feet tall and 175-pounds.  McCabe is from Kaukauna, Wisconsin and currently plays for Kaukauna High. McCabe was first team all-state as a sophomore and junior.  McCabe averaged 25.1 points per game, which also made him a unanimous First Team All-Fox Valley Association selection and a unanimous First-Team Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State in Division 2.

WVU coach Bob Huggins said in a statement, “Jordan brings a much-needed skill level to our point guard position, he is an extremely-skilled passer, ball handler and exceptional shooter. I am confident that Mountaineer fans will enjoy his skill set.”

The Mountaineer will look to increase their recruiting numbers as the November signing period runs through next Wednesday.
