What’s Going To Happen

It’s merely an exhibition for UCF, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

The Knights have to win against USF next week no matter what, and then it has to win the American Athletic Championship game to be the New Year’s Six bowl team from from the Group of Five conferences. It would be nice, though, to stay unbeaten and keep the fantastic season alive.

Temple has turned it on at just the right time, winning the last two games against Navy and Cincinnati to get within bowl range, and now it has to either win this week or next week at Tulsa  to become bowl eligible.

It’s been a herky-jerky season with a few misfires, but as long as the offense continues to be fine, it’s got a shot.

With one of the nation’s most efficient passing attacks, and with a defense that’s fantastic at taking the ball away. It’s all come together with a 9-0 record and all of them by ten points or more.

But Temple is good at moving the chains, the defense is outstanding at getting into the backfield, and it has the schemes and ability to give UCF its toughest game yet. The ability is there to bomb away and keep up.

How’s the weather going to be in Philly on Saturday? Not bad for the guys from Orlando – about 54-degrees and possibly rainy. UCF is too good on the lines and too explosive, but it’ll be in for a battle.
