What’s Going To Happen

Even with two losses in the last three games, Western Carolina has come up with a solid season with a terrific secondary that’s great at coming up with big plays, has an efficient offense, and is solid at putting points on the board.

They lost to Hawaii 41-18 earlier in the year, but they have enough of an attack give North Carolina problems if the struggling Tar Heel defense can’t get off the field.

UNC pulled off a shocker last week, coming up with its second win of the season with a 34-31 win over Pitt. Nathan Elliott threw for 235 yards and three scores, but he had to be nearly perfect to make up for a rocky run D that  got hammered for 267 yards and four scores.

Western Carolina is more than good enough to keep this close, but UNC will try. There’s no looking past any game or any team after coming up with just two victories on the year, and now Elliott and the UNC O should keep it all rolling.

The Catamounts don’t control the clock and they can’t stop the run. UNC will take advantage of both issues.
