How Georgia Is Preparing Jake Fromm For A Hostile Auburn Atmosphere
When Jake Fromm and the No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs face No. 10 ranked Auburn on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., it will mark the biggest road test for the Dawgs all season in terms of hostility.
Georgia beat Notre Dame in week two up in South Bend, but that was hardly much a road game considering the 35,000ish UGA fans who made South Bend feel like Athens, Georgia for freshman quarterback Jake Fromm.
But now, Fromm is set to face his biggest road test against Auburn in Jordan-Hare Stadium, a venue that holds 87,000 and is considered as one of college football’s toughest stadiums to play in.
So, how is Kirby Smart preparing his true freshman quarterback for Saturday’s game?
“Crank up the noise. Crank it up and get him used to it,” Smart said on the SEC Coaches Teleconference call. “We just can’t put so much on his plate to where he can’t communicate.”
Georgia vs Auburn will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on CBS.
