What’s Going To Happen

Army is already set with a bowl game, so now it’s time to have some fun.

On a four game winning streak, now it’s about beating the rivals and screwing up teams with bowl hopes of their own – like Air Force.

The Falcons have turned around their season with a nice three-game winning streak, beating UNLV and Nevada, but it was the 45-28 blasting of Colorado State on the road that turned the season around.

Now the Falcons have to win two of their last four games to go bowling, and they get three of their last four games at home with Wyoming, at Boise State and Utah State to close.

So … whose running game is stronger, and who is better at stopping the run?

The Army D is just okay at stopping the run, and it doesn’t do enough to get into the backfield. The biggest problem is that Air Force does what Army does, only stronger.

Army is No. 1 in the nation at running the ball, but Air Force is No. 2. The Falcon run D isn’t anything great, but the difference is the passing game – Air Force has a little bit of won.

With almost 1,400 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in the last three games, the Falcon O is humming since the 48-45 loss to Navy. At home, it’ll keep it all going, and QB Arion Worthman will hit three key passes, to keep the streak going.
