Week 8 Mountain West Football Power Rankings
Fresno State earns a first-place vote
A little bit of a shake up this week.
As we head into Week 9 of Mountain West football play it is time to see where our staff, and Patreon members, ranked the teams this week.
Fresno State is finally getting a big boost as they easily dismantled San Diego State last week. That win is what it took for everyone to say that the Bulldogs are for real as they shot up from eighth to third in this week’s poll and they earned a first place vote.
Colorado State is still at the top after their win over New Mexico and Boise State is still claiming one first-place vote.
The other big jump saw Utah State move up from ninth to sixth after they hung over half-a-hundred in their win over UNLV, and the Aggies may have found their one true quarterback in Jordan Love.
These power rankings are compiled by our staff as well as readers who subscribe to our Patreon page, so if you want your voice heard or want to hijack the poll (please don’t) go subscribe to participate.
