UNLV is the only reported Mountain West team that is investigating its program

The Associated Press has asked college basketball’s top 84 programs how they have responded to the ongoing FBI probe. The investigation has already led to the arrests of at least four power conference assistant coaches.

Two Mountain West programs were interviewed by the Associated Press – UNLV and San Diego State. Representatives of the school were asked, “Are you reviewing your own basketball program – internally or with a consultant – as a response of the federal probe?”

UNLV responded that they are currently reviewing their program. San Diego State is not currently reviewing their program.

At this time, there have been no reports of any Mountain West schools being involved in the FBI investigation. Boise State head coach Leon Rice dismissed any potential of wrongdoing by his program last month.
