Can UNLV get back on track against Air Force?

A Week after losing to San Diego State 41-10, UNLV is taking the show on the road to Colorado where they will take on the Air Force Falcons. At 1-4, Air Force has not had the season they would like to, and will undoubtedly  be looking to turn things around this weekend.

For the Rebels, this weekends’ game will be all about getting back to 500 after last Saturdays’ loss, which dropped UNLV to 2-3 on the season but only 1-1 in conference play. If they are to do that though, the offense is going to need to play their part.

After only being held to ten points, the Rebels will certainly need to do their fair share of scoring if they are to keep up with the Falcons, who, despite their record, have increased their point total each week, including last weeks’ 45.

With that in mind, expect the Rebels to run the ball a lot as they play keep away, leaving the Air Force offense on the sidelines. This will be good news for Lexington Thomas, who currently has 625 yards on the season.

The game will kickoff at 2:00 pm ET on Saturday.
