What’s Going To Happen

The disrespected unbeaten team, Navy has fought to 5-0 with tough win after tough win against mediocre team after mediocre team. But QB Zach Abey and the ground game continue to be among the best in the country, and now it has a show over the next two weeks to take over the American Athletic race.

Beat Memphis, beat UCF, and it should be smooth sailing in conference play up until the date at Houston.

The Tigers have the offense, but the defense hasn’t shown up. Hanging 70 on UConn was fun, but now the real work begins. Lose, and the AAC season might be over after already getting blown out by UCF.

Navy has a mediocre secondary that won’t be able to hold up against the Riley Ferguson-to-Anthony Miller hookup, but Memphis has an awful run defense that’s getting destroyed by everyone who isn’t busy bombing away on the awful secondary.

Navy will control the clock for over 40 minutes, keep Ferguson on the sidelines, and survive another close battle.
