Georgia Picks Up Commitment From Top 2019 Cornerback
Not a bad couple days for the Dawgs. On Saturday, UGA blows out their hated rival, Florida, by a score of 42-7. Next, on Monday morning, the Georgia added a top commit in the class of 2019.
2019 4-star cornerback Jalen Perry, out of Dacula High School (Dacula, Ga.), tweeted that he will be playing his college football at the University of Georgia.
After visiting Athens for Georgia’s homecoming game against Missouri, Perry – the 22nd ranked cornerback in his class – went home to Dacula impressed.
Perry chose Georgia over Ohio State and Alabama.
The 6’1″, 175 pound cornerback joins a loaded 2019 recruiting class that already features three 5-stars and ranks as the nation’s second best class. Florida holds the number one ranking for 2019, but after the release of head coach Jim McElwain, we should not expect the Gators to retain that number one ranking too much longer.
