CFN Rankings No. 1 to 130: Recaps & Reaction After Week 6

The CFN ranking of all 130 teams – along with recaps and reaction – after Week 6

Week 6 Scoreboard & Predictions: How Did The Picks Do?

As much as possible, the ranking are based on what has happened on the field so far.

You might not like it, it might seem weird, but it’s possible to change wildly week after week as the pieces of the puzzle are being put together. If you’re not going by what happened on the field, then what’s the point of playing the games?

So, with no other factors involved,  the order – based on Team A beat Team B beat C – for the moment has to be, for example, Indiana (who only lost to Ohio State and Penn State), Virginia, Boise State, Troy, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Maryland, who still has to be ahead of Texas. And Kansas State has to be behind all of them.

However, this doesn’t always work.

Iowa State beat Oklahoma, Oklahoma beat Ohio State, Ohio State beat Maryland, Maryland beat Texas, Texas beat Iowa State.

Considering how well Ohio State is playing after that loss to the Sooners, that’s when the adjustments kick in.

So with all that in mind, trying to keep it as true as possible based on the actual wins and losses …
