Check out 3 Quick Game Thoughts on Wake Forest’s blowout win at Boston College

Week 2 Scoreboard & All The Picks

Wake Forest 34, Boston College 10

1. That’s how it’s supposed to work if you’re Wake Forest. The offense held on to the ball longer than the ball control Boston College team, there weren’t any turnovers, and the offense capitalized on everything. It was a blowout ACC road win over a team that went bowling last season. It was an impressive moment for a Wake Forest team that just might be a bigger factor than the ACC big boys would like.

2. Boston College still has to be Boston College. It might want to increase the tempo, but not at the expense of making big errors. The Eagles were -4 in turnover margin, couldn’t run effectively, and didn’t D up enough when the team needed something special.

3. John Wolford had to do just about everything. That’s not necessarily a plus, but the Wake Forest QB completed 13-of-19 passes for 151 yards and a score, and ran 20 times for a team-high 92 yards and a score.
