UGA Football Live SEC Power Rankings: Week 2
Following an exciting week two of SEC football, here are the UGA Football Live week two power rankings.
Quick week two recap.
Georgia went up to South Bend, Indiana and impressed on Saturday night, defeating Notre Dame 20-19, proving themselves as one of the SEC’s best.
Alabama rolled over Fresno State, one week removed from their dominating performance against Florida State.
South Carolina improved to 2-0 after defeating the Missouri Tigers.
Mizzou, who had high expectations for its offense after its week one game in which the Tigers dropped 70+ points, disappointed against the Gamecocks, scoring only 13 points.
Auburn’s offense struggled in Death Valley against the Clemson Tigers. Auburn managed only 6 points, however, its defense did perform well, allowing only 14 points to Clemson. Clemson won the game 14-6.
LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State cruised to easy victories over smaller opponents.
Kentucky and Texas A&M both struggled against lesser foes, beating their opponents by 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
Arkansas came out flat against TCU, losing to the Horned Frogs 28-7.
Florida’s game against Northern Colorado was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
