College Football's Hottest Tickets: Week 2

What are the most important and toughest tickets to come by in Week 2?

If there’s an * next to the pick, that means the team will win, but not cover.

College Football’s Hottest Tickets: Week 2

Week 1 was nothing short of exactly what we love about College Football. Heartbreaks, upsets, rivalries restored and conference lines drawn. Here’s to Week 2 being even better with this slate of match-ups.

Georgia at Notre Dame

The 2017 College Football ticket in highest demand. Tickets for this game are more expensive (currently) than any other game in the 2017 season including the opening match-up, Florida State vs. Alabama, as well as rivalry games that usually hold the top two spots, Alabama vs. Auburn and Michigan vs. Ohio State.

The reason?

The 1981 Sugar Bowl was the last time these two teams played one another, and it’ also the last time Georgia won a national championship. A rematch between these two blue-bloods kicks off Saturday night.

Oklahoma at Ohio State

It’s a playoff-caliber game only 10 days into the College Football Season led by two Heisman-caliber quarterbacks. What did we do to deserve this?

Can Oklahoma get revenge? We’ll find out Saturday night.

Auburn at Clemson

If it’s anything like last year’s game, you’ll want to be there.

In the six-point loss last year to Dabo Swinney, Deshaun Watson and the Clemson Tigers, the Auburn Tigers let one get away at home. It’s revenge time, and Auburn fans will travel to try getting in – but this is one of Clemson’s top home games.

Pittsburgh at Penn State

Nittanyville is calling for a white-out for the showdown against the Panthers, and the Penn State fans want to block out the stadium.

Pitt went up early on Penn State last season and survived a comeback to get the key win at home that later screwed everything up. After the loss to the Panthers, the Nittany Lions went on to lose one more time in the regular season to Michigan. That loss would continue to haunt Penn State as it played a big role in them being left out of the College Football Playoff.

Nebraska at Oregon

Also known as Nike vs. adidas.

Oregon is Nike’s flagship university athletic departments. Nebraska is the original, longest-standing football representative for the Adidas program. On Saturday, the two programs will meet in a highly anticipated game sporting opposing brands. Hopefully.

“The Pac-12 is monitoring the smokey skies in the Willamette Valley and could potentially alter kickoff times — or, in a worst-case scenario, the date — for Saturday’s home games at Oregon and Oregon State.”
