Three Key Georgia Recruiting Targets To Commit This Week
Georgia currently ranks No. 59 in the country with nine commitments for 2018.
The class is led by the nation’s No. 1 running back, 5-star commit Zamir White from Laurinburg, NC. The Dawgs are off to a sluggish start this recruiting cycle, but their fortunes may change after this week.
Beginning today, three of Georgia’s top recruits will be announcing their college decisions this week. Each recruit is a strong Georgia lean and landing these prep athletes would give the Dawgs a great deal of momentum going into the fall season.
Following is a look at the three prospects:
4-star WR Elijah Moore (Fort Lauderdale, FL) was a late entry in the Bulldog sweepstakes. The 5’11”, 175-pound speedster would be the Dawgs first wideout commit for 2018. He’s in the ESPN 300 and ranked as the nation’s 24th best receiver. Ole Miss and Miami are in the mix. He decides at 8:30 pm today.
4-star WDE Azeez Ojulari (Marietta, GA) is the nation’s No. 3-ranked player at his position. The 6’4″, 224-pound Ojulari is the nation’s No. 25 overall prospect according to 247Sports. He’s been clocked in a 4.7 second 40. Florida, Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee are all in play. He is scheduled to make his decision at 2:45 pm on Thursday.
4-star WR Kearis Jackson (Fort Valley, GA) is the 13th-rated player in the state and the nation’s 25th-rated wide receiver. The 5’11”, 203-pound athlete is being pursued by Florida, Florida State, Alabama and Auburn. Jackson makes his decision at 4:30pm on Saturday.
