Top UGA Target To Make His College Choice August 19
Kearis Jackson, a four-star wide receiver from Peach County High, is scheduled to make his college decision August 19.
2018 wide receiver Kearis Jackson (Peach County High School) is the 25th- rated wide receiver in the country and the overall 13th-rated prep in the state of Georgia. Jackson will announce his college decision later this month on August 19th.
Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and Florida are the main contenders for his services.
The 5’11”, 203-pound athlete recently won the Georgia 3A shot put championship, finished second on the 4X100 relay team, third in the 100 meters, ran the anchor leg for the winning Peach County 4X400 relay team (which was later disqualified on an obscure technicality) and finished fourth in the discuss.
Jackson was in Athens on July 15, along with his good friend, Kennesaw quarterback Justin Fields, the nation’s No. 1 recruit. Fields and Jackson are close and having them both on campus at the same time was certainly a plus. Jackson is a strong Georgia lean and hopefully he is as influential as he is talented.
In addition, Jackson has stated that he will attend the same college as Houston County four-star guard Trey Hill. Hill is the nation’s No. 2-rated guard and Jackson committing to the Dawgs would give the 2018 recruiting effort serious momentum heading into the fall.
