Georgia Commit And Top Targets Make All-USA Preseason Team
Georgia commit Zamir White, a five-star running back from Laurinburg, North Carolina, was featured on the All-USA preseason high school football team along with some of Georgia’s top targets.
Tuesday morning, the prestigious American Family Insurance All-USA preseason prep football team (selected by USA Today) was released. The talented group of offensive high school athletes includes Scotland High (NC) running back Zamir “Zeus” White and three high profile Georgia recruits.
White, the nation’s No.1 ranked running back and the Tar Heel state’s top recruit, was named a first-team selection. The five-star athlete committed to the Dawgs on June 27.
Additional first-team selections include the nation’s No. 1 recruit, five-star quarterback target, Justin Field. Fields, from Harrison High in Kennesaw, is focused on Georgia, Florida, Florida State and Alabama as his college choices.
Five-star offensive lineman Jamaree Slayer, considered to be the best lineman in the country, was also selected. The Pace Academy athlete is a Georgia lean with Clemson, Stanford and Ohio State in hot pursuit.
Four-star guard Trey Hill from Houston County High made the first-team as well. Hill is the Peach State’s No. 5 -ranked player and is a strong Georgia lean, with Florida State in the hunt as well.
The All-USA defensive team will be released on Thursday.
