The College Football Playoff committee announced its announcement times for the rankings during the 2017 season.

CFN 2017 College Football Preview

The College Football Playoff committee got together this week to discuss the world and to figure out how and when it’s going to do its job this season.

It created the times and schedule for announcing the rankings each week, with the first round of rankings coming out October 31st and rolling out each Tuesday over the following five weeks.

2017 College Football Playoff Rankings Times

Tuesday, October 31: 7-8 p.m. ET on ESPN
Tuesday, November 7: 7-8 p.m. ET on ESPN
Tuesday, November 14: 9-9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Tuesday, November 21: 7-8 p.m. ET on ESPN
Tuesday, November 28: 7-7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Sunday, December 3 (Selection Day): 12-4 p.m. ET on ESPN

For the November 14th rankings, they’ll come at halftime of the Champions Classic basketball games, in between Duke-Michigan State and Kentucky-Kansas.

The committee also announced its official recusals – the teams the members aren’t allowed to vote on, or be in the room for when discussion happens about them.
