Boise State and San Diego State earn votes

The preseason AP Poll has been released and to no one’s surprise it mostly mirrors the coaches poll, but worse. In the USA TODAY poll, there are four Mountain West teams getting consideration with Boise State, San Diego State, Colorado State and Wyoming; but in the AP poll only the Broncos and Aztecs are ranked.

Boise State is four spots out of being ranked with 37 points and San Diego State has nine points.

It likely will take about two or three weeks before a Mountain West team enters either the AP or coaches poll rankings.
